35 Ampere Power Supply AC input and 35 Ampere Power Supply -48 Volt DC input may be installed on the IBM 9295 Multiple Digital Trunk Processor Model 020. The first power supply feature (0041) is mandatory, the second one is optional, but can enhance the reliability and availability of the 9295. Using the 35 Ampere Power Supply -48 Volt DC input, the IBM 9295 Multiple Digital Trunk Processor Model 020 may now be installed with Telecommunication equipment where only a -48 Volt power supply is available. Both the 35 Ampere Power Supply AC input and 35 Ampere Power Supply -48 Volt DC input support the installation of a second power supply or when two power supplies are installed, a failing supply can be replaced without the input power being removed from the IBM 9295 Multiple Digital Trunk Processor Model 020. This allows for maintenance or expansion of an operating system with minimum disruption to the service being provided by the customer
